Well greetings to any Library Tech students out there this fall of 2008 and going into winter 2009 - students slugging away in classrooms or via online distance ed blackboard tools.
Are you having fun yet? Are you learning? This particular student of a popular British Columbia Library Tech program is learning a huge amount. Looking forward to more. I wish Ihad taken this program a few years ago to get into it earlier.

How are you feeling about your ability to pass on new skills about using the library for learning, to your students?
I have put some library search skill tasks into my lesson plans of General Computer Studies, so that some "newer" college students with less than developed study skills can practice searching on the library catalogue system and get familiar with it all.
